LIQUI MOLY  Solutions:   Engine Knocking

Diesel Knock is common in all Diesel engines due to the high internal pressure they operate at and the way the diesel fuel is ignited in the combustion chamber. To keep the knocking at acceptable levels and avoid engine damage, the fuel system must be free of deposit and carbon build-up. This will ensure the required fine atomization of the fuel from clean injector heads, optimum combustion in a carbon free combustion chamber and prevent pressure loss through dirty valve seats.

Use LIQUI MOLY (pour in tank) fuel treatments to resolve Fuel System issues. Always mix in to a full fuel tank

Other possible causes:

1 - Dirty Air Intake System (EGR Valve)

2 - Wrong motor oil viscosity or Low quality motor oil

3 - Accumulated sludge in engine chamber / Old motor oil.

OIL CHANGE SERVICE REQUIRED: Professional Service

- Clean the motor oil system to remove accumulated sludge before adding fresh oil See

Better to maintain than to repair
